Director Foster Corder has finally stepped out of the shadows.  After 30 years of supporting and helping many other people in the film industry get started, his time has come.  “The Daughters Of Dolemite” is the project he has chosen for his debut showcase. 

 

Having worked with, produced, directed and 4 walled Rudy Ray Moore’s films for 20 years when Dolemites fame had faded, Corder knows more about the man called “Dolemite” than any living person in Hollywood.

He was given the rights to use the Dolemite character as a birthday present by Moore for his hard work over the years.  Now after Eddie Murphy’s recent bio pic for Netflix, Foster feels there couldn’t be a better time to honor his mentor with the last film the two of them could never get funded before Rudy died.
